Gerard Sartori

As a founding partner, Gerard brings 17 years experience in the Reverse Logistics Industry to Qualanex, most recently serving as the Director of Sales and National Accounts for Stericycle, Inc.

Prior to joining Stericycle in January of 2004, Gerard spent 6 years as the Senior National Sales and Account Manager for Universal Solutions (USI) with top and bottom line responsibility for new business development, senior national account management, and high level sales of USI pharmaceutical services to some of the nations largest pharmaceutical companies including GlaxoSmithKline, Bristol Myers Squibb, Novartis, Schering-Plough, Bayer and Pfizer. The services included trade return services, recall/product withdrawal, direct mail and sales representative sample returns.

Prior to USI, Gerard spent 8 years as the Director of Sales and National Account Services for the Ballantine Group, a NJ based pharmaceutical logistics company. As Director of Sales and National Accounts, Gerard was responsible for new business development, high level presentations of Ballantine's reverse logistic services to Senior Executives within the Pharmaceutical Industry, contract negotiations, account management and client services.

Daniel Ezell
Executive Vice President

Mr. Ezell has spent over 20 years in the pharmaceutical reverse logistics industry. Over that time period, he successfully designed and launched several reverse logistics software applications that are today being used by some of the top healthcare companies and service providers in the country. His many strengths include the ability to develop comprehensive strategic and tactical directions, implement plans for results and analyze and solve complex problems.

Previously, Mr. Ezell was the Vice President of Pharmaceutical Services for Stericycle and was directly responsible for managing all departments within the Pharmaceutical Returns division. His leadership and experience in Information Technology, Operations and Client Services resulted in a successful launch of Stericycle's entry into the pharmaceutical reverse logistics industry in 2004.

Prior to Stericycle, Mr. Ezell was the President and founder of Pharmacy Software Solutions, Inc. As founder and president he was responsible for all aspects of the business, including the design and development of "Direct Return", which was the top selling pharmaceutical reverse logistics software in the healthcare industry

Erin Pietranek
Director of Finance

Erin has spent 22 years in corporate finance and accounting joining Qualanex as Director of Finance in January 2013 after serving in a consulting capacity for Qualanex during 2011 and 2012. Her strengths include the ability to manage rapid growth and adapt to changing financial and regulatory environments.

She began her career as a CPA, spending eight years in the public accounting industry specializing in audits of medium sized closely held companies. She then spent the next seven years as the controller and ultimately CFO of a mid-sized privately held land development and construction company maintaining responsibility for all administrative and financing duties. Erin began a consulting company in 2005 working with small businesses in strategic planning as well as creating and maintaining office and accounting procedures and accountability that allowed them to win financing and sales. Erin provides strategy, business process, and finance experience to the team.

Lynn Gustofson
Director of Recall Management Services

Lynn has spent over 21 years in the pharmaceutical reverse logistics industry gaining experience in the management of pharmaceutical recalls and product withdrawals for top manufacturers and their trading partners. Over the years Lynn worked directly with pharmaceutical manufacturers in the planning, initiation and management of numerous Class I, II, and III recalls.

Prior to joining Stericycle in 2005, Lynn was the Senior Recall Manager for Universal Solutions and managed a number of large pharmaceutical client accounts including AstraZeneca, Bayer Pharmaceuticals, Bristol- Myers Squibb, Novartis Pharmaceuticals, GlaxoSmithKline and Watson Laboratories.

Lynn started working in the industry as the Senior Recall Coordinator for the Ballantine Group in 1993, where she spent many years managing key accounts, developing recall management systems, interfacing with the FDA, and insuring that every recall took place in a highly efficient environment.

Bob Bauman
Director, Sales and Marketing

Bob has been a highly successful sales professional over a 20+ year career dedicated to excellence in direct sales and sales management. He is also an experienced entrepreneur having started and built his own business, over the years gaining first-hand knowledge what it takes to succeed in today’s business environment.

Bob has extensive experience helping companies improve through the strategic application of business and technology consulting services, most notably in the Life Sciences industry. He has authored several books, instructional videos and manuals on the subject of sales, win-win negotiations and creating customers for life.

Prior to joining Qualanex in 2013, Bob held key sales and sales management roles with several consulting services companies including PamTen, Clarkston Consulting & Whittman-Hart. Bob combines a passion for establishing trusted relationships through a servant attitude and sincere desire to serve the best interests of his clients by providing valuable benefits that make a difference!

John Capelli
Director of Quality and Regulatory

John joined Qualanex in August 2013 as the Director of Quality and Regulatory. In this role, he has overall responsibility to establish and maintain Quality System elements, including change control, investigation management, corrective and preventive action (CAPA) system, quality and regulatory compliance, and training.

Prior to Qualanex, John worked for Abbott for 21 years where he held diverse roles in various organizations including Manufacturing, Stability Laboratories, Warehousing, and Quality Assurance across Abbott’s Hospital Products, Chemical Products, and Pharmaceutical Products Divisions. John’s experience includes policy systems and development, change control, drug codes, and list/label/size codes. For much of John’s career, he was a Controlled Drug Agent, responsible for the understanding of and compliance to policies and regulations regarding the handling, dispensing, transferring of controlled substances.

John’s experience will ensure that Qualanex advances its quality and compliance strategies and drives the continuous improvement of established quality policies and procedures to ensure that high internal standards as well as quality and regulatory requirements are met.

Robert Goll
Director of Information Technology

Robert brought his 29 years of experience as an IT Professional to Qualanex in March 2015. He is a specialist in IT Architecture, Strategy, and Execution in the areas of Application Development, Data Management, and Software Life Cycle.

The majority of Robert's professional career was at Abbott Laboratories, where he worked for 27 years in a variety of roles including Development, Systems Analysis, Project Management, Program Management, and Department Management. In these roles, he achieved successes in the areas of Laboratory Automation, Database Engineering, Master Data Management, Data Integration, and Architecture. He is a recognized expert in Software Validation and SLC, having developed and led training seminars. A significant amount of Robert’s contributions in these areas included International projects, deployments, training, and coordination of data and requirements.

At Qualanex, Robert is responsible for comprehensive technology matters, maintaining efficient and effective operations of existing systems, as well as setting direction, architecture, design, and implementation of strategic initiatives in alignment with the company’s mission and goals. His value to the organization is evident in his individual accomplishments and as a mentor/coach to the technical team.
